We recently attended the Mercedez Benz showroom at Basingstoke to help our friends at Gold Boiler Care. During testing to complete their annual gas appliance safety checks a significant gas leak was discovered within the external gas meter housing, located over 100 metres away from the main building. Together we were able to trace and replace the leaking pipework. A large section of pipework within the meter housing was removed and replaced, ensuring the system was safe and compliant.
The job included:
🔹 Full RAMS documentation
🔹 Purging the gas line and flaring off safely
🔹 Strength and tightness testing of 100m of gas pipework
🔹 Recommissioning and testing 11 gas appliances within the building
After all works were completed and verified, the site was declared fully operational, leak-free, safe and warm.
